An express redesign of a bottle label for a wine produced by a small family-owned manufactory in Armenia was necessary to adapt to the competitive Californian market. The most challenging requirement was to fully preserve the continuity and the legend without making any changes to the naming and key visuals, including a silhouette of Tapi—a 10th-century Armenian fortress after which the brand is named. We decided to focus on simplification and readability by following a modern design paradigm. Additionally, we incorporated a distinctive element into our design by featuring the Orion constellation, known as 'Hayk' in Armenian, reflecting its cultural significance.
